The Virtual ACT! Users Group is open to all interested people who use or intend to use ACT! Our meetings are designed to give users the opportunity to learn to use ACT! more effectively and find out how other companies are using ACT! In addition, members will learn about the many add-on products that integrate with ACT! The meetings are open to the public and moderated by Karen Fredricks, author of four ACT For Dummies books.

Meetings take place from 6:30 - 8:00 PM EST Online.
Cost is $7.50 Per Attendee; meetings are limited to 20 Attendees.

How it works: Once you have registered for the meeting you will receive a link to the GoToMeeting website, a meeting ID number and the freeconference.com conference call information. Approximately 10 minutes before the meeting, log on to GoToMeeting and call the Free Conference telephone number. You will be able to hear and see the meeting right from your office or home. Should you have a question you can type it into GoToMeeting's Chat area so that the presenter will be able to answer your questions.

Why do you charge for the meetings? I like to limit the meetings to 20 attendees to insure that everyone will have a chance to get their questions answered. If you sign up to attend then there is one less slot for another potential attendee. If you cannot attend then unfortunately your space will go unused. By paying a nominal fee attendees place a bit more importance on their reservation.

Why do you run these meetings virtually? Since its inception in 2000, the meetings of the ACT Users Group of South Florida have been held in Delray Beach, Florida. Many ACT! users from as close as West Palm Beach and Miami found it hard to attend even from such a close distance. I was constantly bombarded by other ACT users who didn't have a Users Group in their area. Now, any and all ACT users can attend.

Are there any other benefits to a virtual meeting? You betcha! By conducting the meetings over the Net I am able to make use of my Internet connectivity to illustrate various ACT features that require an Internet connection. In addition, I can invite in visiting "experts" to display their products and answer your questions directly.
